My name is LaShunda Armstrong, and I am a licensed, clinical social worker in the Phoenix Metro area. I am a graduate of the University of Southern California (USC…Go Trojans!). I have nearly a decade of experience in the mental health field, half of which was as a practicing therapist for adolescents, adults of diverse ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds.
I specialize in treatment for anxiety, depression, various forms of addiction, mood disorders, and trauma-related disorders. I employ distinct client-centered, strengths-focused, evidence-based treatment approaches that include solution-focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Brainspotting.
